Remember when you were a kid and the only person you knew who snored was your Dad and your grandpa? (like a jack hammer, right?) Certainly none of your kid friends- they would be laughed out of their sleeping bag at slumber parties (tough to be a kid!). Remember staying up late at sleepovers? When people finally started falling asleep there was no doubt you’d sleep like a rock until the first giggle of the morning. Even if you were sleeping on the floor with just a sleeping bag- you slept like a rock. Now a good night sleep is just about the best thing you could wish for. And by the way, when does the snoring start (being an adult is so unfair)? Step back in time with me as you look at these pictures (sorry for so many but how do you leave any of these out?).

I have a tough time romancing the idea of a sleep over on the floor (I can’t go that far back!!!). However, I don’t have a single problem dreaming about a super fun slumber party in these totally fabulous rooms.
Oh to be a kid again!
LOVE LOVE LOVE bunk beds. I had them in a part of the kids playroom in the basement when they were little for all the sleepovers!! Now, if my kids EVER leave home and have their own kids, I am doing a bunk house for grandkids with a big bathroom with a long open sink prison style, a couple of shower stalls and two private toilets. These are great shots.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun bunk beds! Makes me want to have a boatload of kids... (just kidding, unless Brad Pitt is part of the deal)!
ReplyDeleteI love bunk rooms too, and this is a fantastic round-up (how could you leave any out!)
ReplyDeleteFantastic post! I love bunk beds, totally reminds me of being a kid at summer camp (although all of these are much more inviting than those, even the rustic camp beds were so much fun).
ReplyDeleteThere's a kid in all of us! Great post, thank you...
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely examples. I've wanted a bunk room for a few years!

Love these bunk bed rooms!!! Thanks for the collection of inspiring rooms!
ReplyDeleteFrom Ali, age 8. I like all of them very much! Especially the one that fits 5 kids in it. I also like the one that has the A on it AND I like the one that has the curtains that is blue (turquoise). But I love all of them!
